OUR SERVICES

LIFE Program (Learning Independence & Functional Essentials)

LIFE (Learning Independence & Functional Essentials) is a skills-building program at Halokin designed for youth ages 12–17 years old. Using the AFLS (Assessment of Functional Living Skills) curriculum, LIFE equips teens with the practical tools they need to navigate everyday situations with confidence.

The program focuses on essential life skills such as: Social awareness  & manners, shopping & money management, community knowledge, phone, and others. Through structured lessons, real-life practice, and supportive guidance, LIFE empowers teens to grow their independence while creating positive experiences in learning and social participation.

ABA Therapy

At Halokin, our Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Program is designed to support children in building the skills they need to thrive at home, school, and in the community. ABA is an evidence-based approach that uses positive reinforcement, structured teaching, and individualized strategies to help children learn and grow.

Program Goals

Our ABA program focuses on:

·       Communication Skills – developing verbal language, functional communication, and alternative communication systems when needed

·       Social Skills – fostering positive interactions, play skills, cooperation, and friendships.

·       Daily Living Skills – teaching independence in routines such as eating, dressing, toileting, and self-care.

·       Behavior Support – reducing challenging behaviors through individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP) and teaching positive alternatives.

·       Academic Readiness – preparing children with foundational skills such as attention, imitation, following instructions, and pre-academics.

·       Emotional Regulation – supporting children in recognizing, expressing, and managing their emotions in healthy ways.

Our Format :

1.       An intensive 3-hour ABA session designed to replicate a school environment, including classroom schedules and transitions.

2.       An intensive 1 hour.

3.       Non-intensive

Our Approach

Every child’s program is personalized based on their strengths, needs, and family priorities. Our therapists work closely with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure consistent support across environments. Sessions are fun, engaging, and always focused on creating positive learning experiences.

At Halokin, we believe every child has the potential to learn, grow, and succeed — and our ABA program provides the tools and support to make that happen.

Occupational & Sensory Integration Therapy

Occupational therapy lasts for 1 hour for each session. During the session, one child will work privately with 1 therapist.

Consultation with Child Clinical Psychologist

Every Saturday Halokin Development Center has a child psychologist who is ready to give inputs, advices, assessments, intelligence quotient, and interest & aptitude test.
